في البداية اعتذر عن غيابي الطويل و انشغالي بمتابعة الاحداث عن طريق التويتر. على الرغم من سهولة استخدامه لكن يضيق علينا الكلمات للتعبير عما يجول بخاطرنا من مخاوف اتجاه ما يحدث في الساحة سواء المحلية او العالمية

فعلا اشتقت للكتابة.. لعالمي الصغير.. لزملائي المدونين.. لكتاباتهم ا لرائعة التي تبعث في نفسي البهجة مع فنجان قهوتي كل صباح

الربيع العربي

لقد شهدت الساحة العربية سلسلة انتصارات شعبية من خلال بلوقز, الفيسبوك, و التويتر. فرحنا كثيرا لانتصارات الشعب التونسي, مصري, ليبي, و تأثرنا أكثر بما يتعرض له الشعب البحريني, السوري و اليمني. لكن لا اخفيكم علما ان ما اخشاه فعلا هو ما بعد الثورة. هل سندخل في ظلمات الديموقراطية العاجزة؟ و ننزلق في فخ نظرية مصلحة الشخصية اولا؟ بدلا من وحدة المصلحة و الافكار؟

اننا نرى تونس مثالا حيا, فوز حزب النهضة بعد ثورة قد يقلص حريات الشعب التونسي أو يأخذ مجرى آخر ..

أما الشعب الليبي الذي حرك فيه الظلم حقد خطير جعله يلجأ الى ممارسات بعيد كل البعد عن الانسانية

ان ما نعيشه الآن هو صراع ثقافات وليست دول كما يقول فوكوشيما

تحديات الربيع الشبابي

يقول فريد زكريا: ان حوالي 60% من سكان الوطن العربي تحت سن 30. هذه الملايين من الشباب لهم تطلعات كثيرة يتعين للانظمة القائمة الوفاء بها. لكن هذه الانظمة تفتقد القدرة على القيام بذلك في الوقت الراهن

بالنيابة عن نفسي ارى ان تأسيس هذه الجمعية ضرورة الآن. لنبدأ بها بالكويت لنتمتع بحقوقنا كاملة و نمنع أي استغلال للفراغ التشريعي الحالي في القانون الكويتي. لنبدأ من هنا…. إلي معاي اصوت

Rebel Thoughts

بداية اعتذر عن غيابي الطويل عن التدوين فالأحداث الأخيرة تتطلب منا وقفة و ليست فزعة! لتحديد موقف معين في وقت أصبحت الكتابة كالتويتر، محاولة كتابة نص في سطر، صياغة بحر من الكلمات في فنجان قهوة بارد! فقررت التمرد

قرار التمرد على اليوم، الفكرة، العمل، السياسة و حتى على روتيني اليومي. أجمل ما في التمرد انه يدفع عجلة دينامو الكتابة لدي. و من هنا أبدأ

يومي متناقض كما هي طبيعة الوجود، يبدأ كالشتاء القارص و سرعان ما يذوب استعدادا ليوم جديد. كما هو حال السياسة، لكن سياستنا “غير شكل” فإما معانا و أما فلا! يا حكومي يا نوابي! يا ابيض يا اسود! أين الرمادي و بقية الألوان إذا؟ أين هي كل الآراء و وجهات النظر التي منها نبدأ الحوار؟ أختطفت الكلمات و تشردت الأفكار و أصبح العنف هو لغتنا الرسمية.

من أين أبدأ؟ بعض النواب الذي يجزر و يسب و يقذف؟ أم الحكومة التي لجأت الى العنف و ضربت الدستور عرض الحاذط؟ لا يعجبني لا تلك و لا ذاك و يحق لي أن أتمرد! حكومة بذكائها جعلت من الجويهل بطل في ندوة الخالدية لا تستطيع ان تتصرف بطريقة أذكى في هذه المواقف! نعم استنكر الذي قامت به الحكومة من أعمال ضرب و عنف في الصليبخات! أرفضها حتى الموت و سأدافع عن من ألحق الضرر به بدون تكسب سياسي و فجأ نجد النواب جميعا تجمعوا حفاظا على الدستور! و لا شك أن بعد الأحداث سنرى البعض هم أول من يقيدوا الدستور و الحريات و الديموقراطية. نعم أتمرد على بعض النواب … و سأظل اتمرد لأحافظ على بقايا ديموقراطية

Le Tub

After hearing everyone from Oprah to GQ Magazines about the place, we decided to visit a small restaurant in Hollywood/Hallandale, Florida that got a lot of national attention for its good.

Le Tub

They have a menu with a variety of items that look good but as what they say, you have to go for the burgers on your first visit. and it definitely one of the best and largest burgers I have seen in my entire life! and its worth the wait though ;p

Le tub gets its name from all the bath tubs around the place. the waterview on the inter-coastal is very relaxing and very rustic with wooden benches. Personally, I loved the place!

Don’t go when it’s raining!

And don’t forget to bring cash, you’re going to need it! ;p

a “busy” early riser

Sorry its been such a long time since you all heard from me.

I rarely sleep late at night but today i did and I have a busy day ahead, full of work 😦

I’ve been “on the fence” for quite some time now and I realized that my last ”real post” i wrote was last january! And I also realized: I always keep myself busy, doing something, whether it’s productive or not. I’ve recently started painting again and feels good to be making again and I will show it to you when it’s further along in the process

For now, I  feel windowless may need some attention again should i join the next Gaza Flotilla? :p hehehehe

The American Congress Approved the Health Care Bill

Beginning with J.F. Kennedy, Franklin Roosevelt and ending with President Obama. Finally, after years of negotiations inside the congress, the lawmakers approved the Health Care Bill recommended by President Obama with 219 VS 212 votes. It’s a big achievement not only for Democrats but for all the Americans because it is the third achievement that affect Americans life after the Social Security and Medcare. Congratulations America!

By the way, when I was watching the debate, I recognized that there is an American version of Meslem Albarrak! Take a look at this video:

Since Leaving my previous phase, I’ve been thinking of my next one. Literally, I’ve decided to live my own life fatally from now on and eventually be fluctuated to the next one.

I am a believer that “whenever the right time comes, that’s where you will find the best answers.”

And Precisely that’s applied to our political issues here. What a relief it will be to live to the next decade?

We all know by now that despite massive accomplishments and a lot of highly people knowledge in some instances didn’t yield all the benefits it could. Most of us, as individuals, succeeded in capturing our situation now and we almost aware that this is not going to end any time soon. But what if each one of us worked hard in the field that he’s really good at? Unfortunately, Most of Kuwaitis talk about politics even if they don’t know any single clue about it. Not all Kuwaitis are political leaders or entrepreneurs! Every week I receive a new email about a new opening business in cupcakes, deserts or so. Is this all we have? I can’t imagine that they run out of creativity!

In these circumstances, the last thing Kuwait needs is a knowledge and cultural scheme focusing on capturing knowledge that already exists. I want to be the one who invest time and effort to contribute existing knowledge with the vague and long term promise. Hopefully, what we need are new approaches to create knowledge, ones that innovate and create new value.
